About the Model Satellite Competition Rockets
The Model Satellite Competition Rockets are solid-fueled rockets developed to launch satellites provided by Türksat within the scope of the Teknofest Model Satellite Competition. Designed to reach an altitude of approximately 500 meters, these rockets derive the necessary thrust from the Cesaroni Pro54-3G motor.
Türksat Rockets, which undertake the task of carrying model satellites, perform payload separation at 500 meters altitude using a system based on pressurized CO₂ canisters.
As part of Teknofest, a historic achievement was made with 22 successful launches out of 22 in a single day in Turkey.
