SOMA is the first rocket developed by the PARS Rocket Group. This rocket participated in the 2014 IREC competition.
SOMA uses M840 Cesaroni and M2245 Cesaroni solid rocket motors. It is designed to ensure reliable performance during high-altitude flights.
The main objective of the rocket is to collect high-altitude flight data and record sensor data during descent using advanced avionics systems.
The rocket body and fins have a trapezoidal structure. The body is manufactured using high-strength composite materials.
Controlled descent is achieved using the Separation System.
A dual-stage parachute system is used, consisting of a Drogue Chute and a Main Chute. The main parachute opens at a certain altitude to ensure a controlled descent.
